Why is your pricing only based mid-April – November?

Accepted Answer

Since we include the tent in our pricing, any event after November is considered “off season.” We store the tent away until mid-March, and therefore, any rental during that time frame is a Pavilion only rental. You can seat around 80 in the Pavilion or do a standing cocktail style event for about 125. Please inquire about our hourly rate for off-season rentals.

Question 2

How much time is allowed for setup and cleanup?

We allow 3 hours for setup and 1 hour for cleanup for every wedding. No event can end later than 10pm, with cleanup ending at 11pm, as we have a noise ordinance set by Anne Arundel County.

Question 3

What is the capacity?

Accepted Answer

Our venue comfortably accommodates up to 200 guests with our existing amenities. If you'd like to extend capacity to 240, you can work with a rental company to add an extension tent. For celebrations exceeding 200 guests, we are happy to accommodate your needs; however, additional rentals, such as a restroom trailer and extra tenting, will be required to ensure your event runs seamlessly.

Question 4

Where can we take photos on the property?

You are welcome and encouraged to take photos on the pier, throughout the gardens, and around the William Brown House and historic complex. You will not have access to the inside of the William Brown House or the historic buildings as those are museums.

Question 5

Do we get a rehearsal? If so, when does that get scheduled?

Accepted Answer

A 1-hour ceremony rehearsal can be hosted the day prior to your wedding. All rehearsals are scheduled at 60 days out so that we have a good grasp on our events schedule. Rehearsals are included in your fee as long as they are during public hours. After hours rehearsals are $75. London Town staff may be on site, but they do not assist with rehearsals. Keep in mind, we frequently have Friday, Saturday, and Sunday rentals. If there is a wedding the day before you, your rehearsal will be based around their rental time.

Do you have any décor restrictions?

We allow candles as long as they are enclosed in a votive. We do not allow sparklers or wish lanterns. All items hung in the tent or Pavilion must be done by a professional company. We do not allow anything to be applied to the walls that will cause damage (nails, tacks, heavy tape, staples, etc). Other than that, we encourage you to bring your design to life here!

Can we arrive or depart by boat?

You may! Our pier is 185’ out into the South River and has a depth of 6 feet.

Question 8

Can my pet be at my wedding?

Accepted Answer

Your four-legged family member is just that, family. We are a pet friendly venue and highly encourage our couples to include your pet in your special day. We even have recommended vendors that will assist with wedding day pet care!

Question 9

Is there parking on site?

Accepted Answer

We have approximately 125 spots in our lot for parking. Cars may be left overnight and retrieved the morning after your wedding during public hours.

Are there restrooms?

We have six unisex restrooms in the Pavilion. Two of them are attached to the dressing suites and two are handicap accessible.
